shed a tear, wear a hat, and draw an idea -- (Friday)

sorry all of my fellow onlooker/readers for not puttin more up this week. been busy, and hadn't found enough coffee to get me sketching these mornings.-- probly need to wake up around 5:45 instead. -- damn that alarm clock snoozy

well yesterday was equal parts sad and amazing. mr mcqueen died, which is a total shame. -- maybe it's a grand marketing ploy? -- i doubt it tho. he was one of the few current designers that really inspired me.

the good part of the day was going to a "hat show" -- yestadt millinery -- so damn good. the show was so intimate, with gin to fill our belly/brains, and an amazing display of ms. jane's creations. i loved them all. they were sex-less to me; i wanted to not only try them all on, i wanted to own them all.
